Milestones and Favorites

I thought I would post a Micah milestone update/ favorite things blog. It seems like just in the last month or so Micah has grown up soo much. His personality is definitely coming out and he wants to be more and more independent each day.

Some of his favorite foods now include:

Watermelon

Scrambled Eggs

Oreos

Pizza

Pasta

Peas

Brocolli

and of course chocolate and ice cream.

Some of his new developments are:

-Talking- His vocabulary includes Momma, Da da, Woof (that's dog), That, Diga Diga (which means tickle tickle), Hi, Boo, and No. He also has his own little language that he talks in all the time that we can't understand yet.

-Listening (when he wants to)-He is starting to know what we are saying when we ask him for something or to do something, like get his shoes and if he's ready to eat he goes to his highchair. He has also learned where food comes from. The fridge and the cabinets are where he goes when he is hungry.
We are still working on him to use his words when he wants something instead of screaming at us until he gets it.

-Running- He runs everywhere these days. No matter where he is going he is always in a hurry.

-Noises- He also as you can tell from the earlier video, has learned that everything that moves makes a noise like a car or a helicopter. He also has recently learned the noise that a train makes. He has a new car that he loves to "drive" and make the car noises as he goes around the house. I think we're going to have a problem with him wanting to drive our car before we know it.

-Cleaning- He loves to sweep, vacuum, and wipe tables. It is so cute t0 watch him. Yesterday he even help me steam clean the carpet and wash the dog. The dog got her face washed and baby soap put on her courtesy of Micah. Here is a picture of him playing in the bubbles as I cleaned the carpet.

It is so amazing to watch him grow up. We have now realized that he is no longer a baby. We now have a toddler on our hands. It's kinda sad that we are losing our baby but I am so excited to watch him grow up and be able teach him new things.

Micah looks so grown-up with his hair cut short. It is so much fun watching little ones learn new things.

Don't say the "not a baby" thing to loud or to often it makes you want more. Then you end up with three like me.
