First Haircut

Well this weekend was full of exciting things. Friday, me and Jeremy went on a date to go see a high school production of "West Side Story". We had a great time watching the musical and hanging out with friends. Micah was with his grandparents and I think he had a good time too. We didn't get home till around 12, which is a time we didn't know existed. We were exhausted on Saturday morning. But since it was Jeremy's birthday we decided to venture out and get Micah a haircut. Poor guy was starting to look like a little girl with his curly long hair.

We took him to Cool Cuts 4 Kids and he was able to play and relax a little bit first. Then he sat in a taxi cab and drove while his hair was getting cut. We got plenty of pictures and of course a lock of his hair for his baby books. He looks like such a little boy with his new haircut. His new nickname from his Papa is "Spike". Anyway, he did such a great job that we decided he needed some ice cream afterward. I think mommy and daddy needed some too. So we went to Sheridans for some frozen custard. If you have never had frozen custard, you must come visit us so we can take you to get some. I think it's the best frozen, creamy creation ever!! Micah loves the doggie cone, which is just a small scoop of ice cream. It's perfect for him.

On Sunday we went to church and then over to Jeremy's parents house, for his birthday lunch. We had a good time visiting and Micah had a blast with his cousin. Jakob is still warming up to the idea of Micah being around, but he's pretty good with him.

This weekend we also found out that my mom will be coming to visit us next week. Just in time for Micah's birthday. We are so excited to see her!!

It's been a busy weekend, so today is recuperating day for us. But I thought I would leave you with before, during, and after haircut pictures. Enjoy!!
