6 months and a birthday party

Lylah turned 6 months old last Sunday...

Here is what she has been up to....
-She is 17 lbs 4 oz
-She is 26 1/2 inches long
-She wears size 3 diapers
-She is in size 3-6 and some 6-9 month clothes
-She has two teeth which came in at the same time
-She can sit up
-She is now taking bathes in the big bath tub
-She still LOVES her older brother
-She has the cutest laugh
-She likes to scream when she is bored or happy
-She is finally eating baby food. Her favorite so far is carrots.
-She still nurses and prefers milk over food.
-She still is not sleeping though the night. She does sleep two pretty good stretches though.
-She has discovered our furry friends and loves to grab their faces.

Last week we also had a birthday. Jeremy turned 31! To celebrate we made Ranch burgers and I made him a mint chocolate chip chocolate ice cream cake. It was really good! But a ton of work, everytime I took it out of the freezer it melted some. But in the end it all worked out. See...


Micah loved helping his daddy blow out his candles.
But I think he enjoyed eating cake more. :)
